Enrico Pontello, Founder of Pontello - Architecture & Engineering headquartered in Central London, is a member of the Architects Registration Board (ARB). His architectural journey began with a Master‘s Degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark. Early in his career, Enrico joined the Computation Team within the Structure Department, where he contributed significantly to the design and implementation of steelwork for the Grand Theatre of Rabat, a notable project by Zaha Hadid Architects. Enrico further enhanced his expertise at the esteemed office of Santiago Calatrava in Zurich, Switzerland. Here, he played pivotal roles in diverse international projects, including designing a complex office space for Sohar Bank in Oman, coordinating the restoration of the Canal Grande bridge in Venice, Italy, and contributing to the completion of the Pavilion for Expo 2020 in Dubai. Today, as the leader of Pontello - Architecture & Engineering, Enrico oversees a dynamic range of projects across various regions. His firm specializes in nautical developments, cultural institutions, residential design, commercial and public infrastructure, showcasing a blend of innovative design solutions and meticulous project management. Enrico‘s career exemplifies a passion for architectural excellence, driven by a profound sensitivity to both aesthetics and engineering principles. Enrico consistently balances his professional career with academic pursuits, participating in conferences, lecturing at international Universities and publishing numerous scientific dissertations reflecting the quality of hiw professional work.
